TRYST IS FIGHTING KIDS’ HUNGER WITH A SPECIAL, SPICY COCKTAIL

Tryst, Delray Beach’s hottest gastropub on the strip, is pleased to step up their support to end childhood hunger by participating in new Palm Beach’s Taste of the Nation® for No Kid Hungry The Shake Up competition.

During March, Tryst invites guests to visit the restaurant and purchase an “Ancho Thai Daisy” cocktail for $14. One dollar, which can feed a child ten healthly meals, from every Ancho Thai Daisy purchased will go directly to the cause. The gastropub’s delciously spicy twist on the traditional margarita features Yaxche Tearoom Chai Tea Infused Maestro Dobel Silver Tequila, Ancho Reyes Chili Liquer and Grapefruit Peel.

The two highest fundraising local restaurants will be announced on April 11 and will earn the chance to feature their mixologists at “The Shake Up” competition at the main event, the Palm Beach’s Taste of the Nation, taking place on Thursday, April 14, 2016. Tryst will be sharing social media updates on their restaurant’s progress via the hashtag, #ShakeUp4NKH. The Taste of the Nation® for No Kid Hungry event will take place at The Cohen Pavilion of the Kravis Center on Okeechobee Boulevard in Downtown West Palm Beach from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m. General admission tickets are $125 per person. VIP admission with early entry to the event is $200 a ticket.

Each year, dedicated culinary professionals lend their time and talents to Taste of the Nation® for No Kid Hungry events in more than 30 cities across the nation to support Share Our Strength’s No Kid Hungry® campaign work, which connects kids in need with daily healthy food.. Since 1988, one hundred percent of the proceeds from Taste of the Nation events have raised more than $85 million to help make No Kid Hungry a reality.

The April 14 local event will take place at The Cohen Pavilion of the Kravis Center on Okeechobee Boulevard from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m. General admission tickets for Taste of the Nation® for No Kid Hungry are $125 per person. VIP admission with early entry to the event is $200 a ticket.

Tryst has an extensive wine list that is sure to please all. Classic cocktails are artfully prepared from scratch with the freshest ingredients. Outdoor patio seating is available in addition to full dining service indoors and at the large bar.

Tryst is open: Monday through Thursday from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday 5 p.m. to 2 a.m.; and Sundays 5 p.m. until 10 p.m. Brunch is served Saturday and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Kitchen hours are 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. daily.

Tryst is located at 4 E Atlantic Avenue just east of Swinton Avenue on Atlantic Avenue in Delray Beach, Florida. The restaurant is situated directly across the street from Old School Square on the same block as “32 East”.
