THREE LOCAL CHEFS TEAM UP TO FIGHT KIDS’ HUNGER
Avocado Grill set to host second annual Taste of the Nation Chefs’ Dinner
By popular demand, Executive Chef/Owner Julien Gremaud will once again host Share Our Strength’s No Kid Hungry Chefs’ Dinner on July 18 at Avocado Grill. Last year’s sold-out event was proof positive that South Florida residents care deeply about addressing the issue of local food insecurity for kids and their families.
“We’re proud to host this summertime event to help generate even more awareness about the dire needs right here in our community as well as raise monies to help support local efforts. Chef Aaron Black from PB Catch in Palm Beach and Owner/Chef Eric Grutka from Ian’s Tropical Grill in Stuart will be joining me in the kitchen this year. It will be fun for us and delicious for our guests. We can’t wait for the event,” says Chef Gremaud whose leadership role in the event has expanded significantly over the years.
Tickets for the one-night-only “Chefs’ Collaboration for a Cause” July 18, 2017 event to benefit No Kid Hungry will be $95 each. There is limited seating and reservations must be made in advance. Guests will be treated to cocktails and passed hors d’oeuvres followed by a five-course Caribbean-inspired feast with wine pairing.
