WEST PALM BEACH GREENMARKET KICKS OFF SEASON SATURDAY, OCT. 11 WITH NEW SHADED WATERFRONT OASIS AND MIMOSA BAR
More than 70 local vendors will sell fresh local products each Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the WPB Waterfront
The popular West Palm Beach GreenMarket returns to the Waterfront for its 20th season on Saturday, October 11, 2014 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. with more than 70 vendors. New this year is an upscale Waterfront Oasis space at North Clematis Street and Flagler Drive. Patrons can “refresh on the waterfront” at this shaded area that will feature a live island band, a bar serving unlimited mimosas for just $10, comfy furniture, fresh flowers and plants, and misters to stay cool. Opening day will feature passed hors d’oeuvres provided by vendors. The Waterfront Oasis will be open during each GreenMarket this season.
“In addition to being the best place to pick up the best fresh flowers, produce, baked goods and other assorted items, the GreenMarket is a place to see and be seen; creating a space for patrons to mingle with hors d’oeuvres and mimosas on the beautiful Waterfront is the perfect way to enjoy a Saturday morning,” said Mary Pinak, community events manager.
The West Palm Beach GreenMarket is held every Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the waterfront and includes vendors selling the freshest produce, baked goods, plants, home goods and more. Free kids activities from Ultima Fitness will be on-site to entertain the littlest GreenMarket-goers.
