The Olive Tap Debuts at PGA Commons

Whoever said, “You catch more flies with honey than you do with vinegar,” was not familiar with the lip-smacking condiment being served up sweet and fresh daily at The Olive Tap in PGA Commons.

Owned by local, husband-and-wife entrepreneurs, Josh and Cheryl Emery, the new gourmet hot spot features award-winning, hand-pressed olive oils, and aged balsamic vinegars imported from all over the world. Additionally, the store features a variety of gourmet foods, elegant hostess gifts, and olive oil-based bath products.

The Port St. Lucie couple own and operate a second location in Delray Beach, and credit their retail success to a pioneering spirit and demanding jobs in the automotive and pharmaceutical sales fields. When not spending time with their 2-year-old son Finn, the Emerys are foraging for new farm-to-table products and local producers to showcase at The Olive Tap.

“People always tell us they became better cooks after using our oils and vinegars,” says a smiling Josh Emery. “Flattery is the ultimate compliment.”
