CityPlace Weekly Green Market Thursday Evenings
CityPlace is turning the concept of a traditional day time farmers market on its head with the launch of a new weekly market called Sunset Social Farmstands hosted Thursday nights.
“We want to offer the community a convenient and entertaining opportunity to pick up last-minute dinner ingredients on your way home from work, as well as a fun and early way to kick off the weekend,” says Gopal Rajegowda, senior vice president of Related Companies. “This will cater to everyone, and speaks to the growing urbanite demographic in West Palm Beach who are looking for lively evening activities during the week.”
Sunset Social Farmstands will combine committed vendors who sell locally-sourced options including, fresh-from-the-ground fruits and vegetables, sustainable seafood and artisanal foods, with CityPlace’s tenants to bring even more liveliness to an already upbeat downtown destination.
The Sunset Social Farmstands will be available Thursday nights from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m., beginning with Thursday, November 2. The weekly open-air market will feature 20 to 30 unique vendors offering farm-fresh produce, raw Florida honey, French breads and pastries, imported cheeses, flowers and much more.
A highlight of the market will be food tastings and field-to-fork cooking demonstrations featuring local community partners. After browsing the market, shoppers can relax while enjoying bites and cocktails at CityPlace. Sunset Social Farmstands is sponsored by Cleveland Clinic Florida.
