I had the pleasure of working with Discover the Palm Beaches to put together a list of restaurants in North, Central and South Palm Beach County to visit during Food Month – September! Visit thepalmbeaches.com for tons of information on what to eat, see and do in The Palm Beaches!

SOUTH COUNTY

Boynton Beach, Delray Beach, Boca Raton

The south end of Palm Beach County hosts an array of eating establishments to enjoy. From waterfront venues like Old Key Lime House in Lantana to juice and coffee bars like Nomad Surf in Boynton Beach and intimate date night spots like The Grove in Delray Beach there is something for everyone. Delray Beach’s main street, Atlantic Avenue, has become a foodie mecca with door to door dining options and an exciting nightlife scene.

Green Owl

Green Owl is a tradition in Delray Beach. Though they relocated to 4th Avenue in 2016 due to the sale of the building they occupied, Green Owl served the community through its Atlantic Avenue doors for over 30 years. A cash only establishment, the diner serves breakfast and lunch to patrons who have remained loyal for decades at prices that seem almost impossible along the main corridor. Stop by to enjoy a leisurely meal with service with a smile.

Sandbar at Boston’s on the Beach

Sandbar is a great time on the beach, not at the beach. Just across Ocean Blvd from Delray Beach is an outdoor tiki hut with colorful umbrellas, Adirondack chairs and a sandy-toed good time. Sister bar to the adjacent Boston’s on the Beach, Sandbar serves up finger foods and sandwiches with creative cocktail concoctions sometimes seen served by the pitcher. A great way to take in the sun but also beat the heat.
