Saras Kitchen

Sara’s Kitchen is a local breakfast joint that has consistently good “home cooking” food and familiar smiling faces. It’s the perfect spot for the group to nurse a hangover or to grab a bite with family. The portions are big and the coffee is bottomless.

On this particular morning I went with the Two Eggs Any Style, over-easy, with link sausages, hash browns and two buttermilk pancakes. So. much. food. Everything is cooked just right and the pancakes are fluffy goodness.

Their Eggs Benedict is another one of my personal favorites and is delicious. Their skillets are also super yummy and popular. I like the Mama Skillet with ham, bacon, sausage, onions, green peppers and tomatoes.

For a healthier start, I go with the Steel Cut Oatmeal which you can get with raisins and brown sugar or topped with fresh fruit.

I’ve only been to Sara’s once for lunch and had the BLT Sandwich. But this is one of those places that you can count on for good food and service any time of day.
