EAT PALM BEACH | ANZO

I visited Anzo for lunch last week. Located in the previous Jardin space along Clematis Street in downtown West Palm Beach, Anzo is the newest concept from those who brought us The Chickpea.

The restaurant is light, bright and airy with an array of seating arrangements from high top to lounge. Diners are invited to order along the fast casual service counter and dine in or take their food to go. There is also a cafe area in the front.

The cuisine is Mediterranean influenced. The menu features signature and build your own bowls, wraps and salads. You can also choose from sides like hummus and chips.

For lunch I went with the Build Your Own Bowl. I started off with a base of warm Vegetable Quinoa and a cold Kale Mix. For proteins I added Charred Chicken and Turkey Meatball with Green Bean Almondine for my vegetable. The Toppings options are plentiful and I added on Street Corn Salad, Edamame, Purple Cabbage Slaw, Avocado and a drizzle of house Anzo Sauce.

Anzo offers an array of beverages including housemade teas and frescas like Watermelon Lemonade and all-natural craft soda.

Seasonal jar desserts and gluten-free cookies round out the dessert menu and there is a pared down kids meal option.

The concept is slated to open multiple locations in the Palm Beach County area in the near future.
