Thanksgiving is around the corner! Here are some places to celebrate the holiday in South Florida:
THE RESTARAUNT AT THE SETAI
Special prix fixe menu features untraditional Thanksgiving offerings for $95
The Restaurant at The Setai is celebrating Thanksgiving with an elaborate and untraditional brunch and prix fixe dinner menu. On November 26th, The Restaurant at the Setai will feature a Thanksgiving Day themed brunch with three seatings at 11:30 a.m., 1 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. Classic Thanksgiving dishes will be available including Turkey and Ham, Roasted Honey Glazed Leg of Lamb, Creekstone Strip Loin, Truffle Roasted Murray Farm Chicken, and BBQ Kurobuta Bershire Pork Ribs. An extensive array of seafood will be available as well including Alaskan King Crab Legs, Snow Crab Claws, Blue Point Oysters, Mediterranean Mussels, Little Neck Clams, and Shrimps and Cod Ceviche. Lastly, the brunch will feature untraditional dishes including Indonesian Beef Rendang, Indian Lamb Vidaloo, Upma (Indian Polenta), a selection of Indian Tandoori Breads, Traditional Pad Thai, Chicken Panang Curry, Papaya and Florida Mango Salad, Tom Yong Goon, and Singaporean Laksa.
From 7 p.m. – 10 p.m., The Restaurant at The Setai’s delicious three-course dinner menu gives guests a choice of appetizer, including a Foie Gras “Torchon”, Truffle Dumpling, “Thai Langoustine”, or Pumpkin Velouté. Guests will then choose between Maine Lobster, Roasted Turkey, and Wagyu Striploin. To finish their Thanksgiving meal, guests will have a choice of dessert, including the Vanilla Chai Roasted Pear, with gingerbread sponge, oat crumble, mascarpone crème fraiche gelato; Pumpkin Mousse Roulade, with candied pecans, Pumpkin Seed Brittle, and bourbon ice cream; and variations on chocolate, including bittersweet ganache, whipped white chocolate cream, and dehydrated chocolate mousse with dark chocolate sorbet. The prix fixe menu is $95 for adults and $48 for children. A vegetarian menu is avaialbe upon request.

On Thursday, November 26th, db Bistro Moderne invites families and friends to enjoy a three-course, prix fixe Thanksgiving dinner prepared by Chef Jason Pringle that is sure to satisfy from start to finish. Terrazza at Shore Club Presents Thanksgiving at the Chef’s Table
In celebration of the holiday Terrazza at Shore Club will hold a special Thanksgiving-themed edition of Chef’s Table on Monday, Nov. 16, 2015. Unlike most family-style Thanksgiving dinners the Chef’s Table will take guests through Thanksgiving dinner course-by-course for an intimate and interactive experience. Guests will have direct access to Chef Steve Rhee as he prepares nine courses including Pumpkin Purée Soup with Parmesan, bacon and chive and Turkey Roulade with pine nuts, cranberries and creamed kale for a contemporary twist on a Thanksgiving Feast.

Mondrian Welcomes Second New York-Based Pop-Up Restaurant Pies ‘N’ Thighs To Serve Southern Fare at Mondrian South Beach
Just in time for Thanksgiving Pies ‘N’ Thighs, a critically praised Brooklyn-based restaurant, is coming to Miami! The pop-up Pies ‘N’ Thighs will serve up its signature southern fare including fried chicken and pies that The New York Times lauded as “… honest, american and sweet.” Highlights include sour cherry and pecan pies. Owners Sarah Sanneh and Carolyn Bane have an impressive background including stints at Magnolia Bakery, The Spotted Pig and Momofuku Milk Bar. Pies ‘N’ Thighs will take up residence in Mondrian opening Nov. 16, 205 through Jan. 17, 2016. The restaurant will be in addition to Momo Sushi Shack, whose partnership with Mondrian South Beach is confirmed through January 2016.
