EAT PALM BEACH | GREASE

We visited Grease for lunch during World Cup. I have been to Grease a few times for the bar scene, but finally gave the food a try this time around.

I really like the ambience of Grease. The high ceilings give an openness and the long bar long the right side and high tops make it feel casual. Something about the atmosphere and the people makes you feel like they really encourage having a good time.

We stopped in for lunch and I decided to try out their Turkey Burger. It was delicious, which is always a good sign for burger joints in my book. I will admit, I did eye the Brats menu for a few minutes.

The hubs got the Apple Jack Burger with applewood bacon, white cheddar, a grilled apple slice and Jack Daniels BBQ sauce – YUM. We split a side of fries which were shoestring and demolished quickly.

Our buddy ordered the Black & Blue Burger which looked delicious with blue cheese and bacon. He went with the Tater Tots, which I happily taste-tested.

All of the food was really good and they have a nice selection of beers and drinks to choose from, including a serious list of bourbons. The menu was actually also pretty generous with a nice section of salads, sandwiches, inventive burgers and a list of gourmet toppings available. My only complaint would be that the burgers don’t come with a side which is a little rough at about $12 a piece. And also that I was too full to dive into the dessert menu which features items like the Salted Caramel Pretzel Brownie (I want that).

Great food, atmosphere and service… If you haven’t been to Grease, I recommend giving it a shot. And maybe taking a Shotski while you’re there! Oh boy.
