Hilton West Palm Beach

What made you join the Hilton team?

I’ve been with Hilton for 13 years working throughout Florida, and joined Hilton West Palm Beach because of my family’s roots at this this area. I spent a lot of time as a child in the Palm Beaches and knew it would be a great place to raise my kids. I also wanted the opportunity to work with Related Companies, and the chance to open this great property that has made an impact among the local community.

How did you get your start in the hospitality field?

I started working in hotels as a valet in college and fell in love with the team culture. I was meant to work in hospitality!

What is your favorite Hilton WPB dish / guilty pleasure of the moment?

The Manor Burger is the best burger in West Palm Beach, and the chicken wings fired on our wood-burning grill, Christine, at our Saturday pool party & on Friday’s at Galley are my top favorites.

My guilty pleasure is drinking too much Rabbit Coffee from Provisions.

What’s next for Hilton WPB?

Over the past few months, we’ve seen the local community really embrace the experiences we’ve curated for locals from Saturday morning yoga to a pool party with DJ, lawn games, fun pool floats and more. We plan to continue growing a culture and hotel that guests and locals are excited to experience and traditionally haven’t found in our city. We also look forward to continuing to work with the convention center, Discover the Palm Beaches and VISIT FLORIDA to create awareness to make West Palm Beach a strong meetings and conventions destination. We are continuously coming up with new ideas, experiences and programming so keep your eyes peeled for more to come!

What is one thing you would love for people to know about Hilton WPB?

We have created a very unique experience and culture here, not only for our guests but also for our team. At the end of the day, our job is to cultivate a great working environment so that our team can provide a memorable experience to customers. For example, we’ve created a social media campaign that showcases our personality and property through choreographed (and silly freestyle) dance routines, Q&A’s, behind the scenes moments and spoof videos. We strive to portray ourselves with the ultimate “our doors are open” persona, and guests tell me all the time that once you get to experience Hilton West Palm Beach, you get it.
